Pelham Training is proud to provide a practical skills examination for Emergency Medical Technician candidates. This examination meets exceeds all criteria for the State of Indiana and The National Registry of EMTs. This examination is available to EMT candidates who have taken training at another training institution as well as EMT candidates that must retest one or more stations from a previous skills examination.

These examinations are scheduled on Saturday mornings to make them as convenient as possible for those candidates that must travel.

EMT candidates from Indiana should bring the remediation letter that you received from IDHS with you when you test at Pelham.

All EMT candidates must be able to provide an approved form of Photo ID. Your driver’s license is normally an excellent form of identification.

Skills Examination Stations include:

Patient Assessment/Management – Trauma
Patient Assessment/Management – Medical
Cardiac Arrest Management
BLS Airway Management
Spinal Immobilization (seated)
Spinal Immobilization (supine)

One Random Skill station which will be one of the following:
Oxygen preparation and application
Traction Splinting
Long Bone Immobilization
Joint Immobilization

If you are retesting one station the cost is $25.00
If you are taking up to 3 stations the cost per station is $25.00 per station
If you are testing more than 3 stations or are required to take the complete examination the cost is $150.00
Pelham Training is on Eastern Standard/Daylight time. Please adjust your travel time accordingly.
You should plan to be here at 8:00 am Eastern Time to take your skills examination.
