17 – Day EMT Program
The EMT program we offer lasts for 17 consecutive days and is structured to equip students with the essential knowledge and skills to create, execute, and uphold a treatment plan for ill and injured patients at the Basic Life Support (BLS) level.
We incorporate various teaching and learning techniques. These techniques may include, but are not limited to, assigned readings, presentations, discussions, critical thinking exercises, labs, class activities, scenarios, and clinical rotations. The EMT Program effectively builds upon skills and information in a clear manner to provide a well-rounded training experience.

36 – Hours EMT Refresher Course
Our EMT Refresher Course provides the latest evidence-based information, which is first presented in a classroom environment and then applied through scenario-based training that includes a combination of Problem Based Exercises (PBE), high fidelity simulations, and tabletop drills.
The principles covered in the EMT Refresher Course consist of a collection of guidelines that merge operational and medical standards into a unified set of best practices tailored for out-of-hospital care and management by EMTs.

Paramedic Program
The paramedic is recognized as the highest level of training for initial EMS responders. Paramedics are advanced emergency medical care providers, thoroughly educated in subjects such as anatomy and physiology, cardiology, medications, and medical procedures. Many graduates continue their education with critical care training at our facility or through other programs.
Pelham’s Paramedic Program is designed to last approximately 17 weeks, based on military and fire department training courses. We have been successfully training paramedics in this format for over a decade.
Students in the paramedic program acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to initiate, develop, and maintain treatment plans for sick and injured patients, delivering care at an advanced level.

Paramedic Refresher
Our Paramedic Refresher course is a five-day program focused on continuing education.
We offer a well-rounded blend of classroom learning, demonstrations, and real-time scenarios to keep students engaged!
The most up-to-date evidence-based information is presented in the classroom and then applied in practical training through high-fidelity simulations. Therefore, the Paramedic Refresher Course is fast-paced. Students spend a significant amount of time actively participating in various activities, ranging from simple training lanes to full scenarios that address Emergency Medical Protocols, TCCC principles, and extended/critical care.
The Paramedic Refresher course is specifically designed for those who are already certified as Paramedics and need to re-certify.

Wilderness & Rural 3-Day Rescue Course
Elevate your emergency response skills at our immersive 3-day, 3-night Wilderness &
Rural Rescue Course, hosted at our 67-acre training facility. Designed for all responders
and medical professionals, this hands-on program teaches basic and advanced
wilderness first aid, medical and trauma management, environmental injury treatment,
and improvised patient care.
