Where Real EMS Training Happens
Two Locations • One Mission: Practical, Hands-On Preparation
Bloomfield, Indiana

Our Bloomfield Schoolhouse (Since 2019)

Since moving into our 20,000 square foot schoolhouse in Bloomfield, Indiana in 2019, Pelham Training has operated with a clear focus: deliver high-quality, accelerated EMS education on a private budget without unnecessary frills.
This is a functional, purpose-driven facility where the emphasis is on learning and doing. You’ll find:
• Dedicated classroom space for lectures and group discussions
• Skills practice areas for hands-on training (airway management, IV stations, patient assessment, trauma care, and more)
• Room to organize equipment and run realistic indoor scenarios
• Student areas for studying, meals, and squad collaboration between sessions
The schoolhouse serves as our daily base for classroom work and skills practice. It’s clean, practical, and built for focused learning. Every dollar we have goes toward experienced instructors, quality materials, and — most importantly — real training time rather than fancy extras.

Pelham Beechwood (Acquired 2023)

Just minutes from the schoolhouse sits our 67-acre Beechwood Training Site — a former 1960s Christian summer camp turned authentic EMS and tactical training campus.
This is where classroom knowledge meets the real world. Students spend multiple immersive days here practicing in natural conditions:
• Woods and open fields for mass casualty, trauma, and tactical scenarios
• Private lake access for Zodiac operations and water recovery exercises
• Natural slopes for low-angle rope and technical rescue
• Realistic outdoor simulations in all weather — rain, heat, and mud
The site has rustic but functional buildings (updated kitchen, classroom in the former chapel, lodging cabins). It’s not polished — it’s real. And that’s exactly why it builds strong, adaptable providers.

How the Two Locations Work Together

Most classroom and skills work happen at the Bloomfield schoolhouse. Students then head to Beechwood for multiple days of immersive, outdoor scenarios (1–2 days for the 17-Day EMT Program and several days for the Paramedic Program).
This combination gives you the best of both: structured learning + rugged, real-world practice.
No fancy simulation labs. No wasted money. Just honest, effective training that prepares you for the job.
